Book Update

July 31, 2018 by David K Mullen

As summer shifts into high gear, I want to share the status of my book: New Jersey Uncorked: A Snob-Free Taste of NJ Wine. This post is later than usual, as I was verifying the proper links, etc.

I picked up my copies of the book last week and am told that you can purchase your copy now at BookBaby’s website at this link:

https://store.bookbaby.com/book/New-Jersey-Uncorked

If you prefer, you can pre-order (not quite ready for mass consumption) at Amazon.com. It should also be available soon at most other major outlets online or ordered at a brick and mortar store-they still have them, don’t they?

The e-book will take another 2-3 weeks before it is available. It will only be available through Apple’s iBooks and viewed on iOS systems (Macs, iPads and iPhones).

I must say, I am very happy with the job that BookBaby did with the printing and design of my book. They are a local South Jersey business located in Pennsauken. I am also very happy with my wife, Carol’s art work. She is an accomplished student of China Painting and she painted a white tile with a grape-vine motif, which I converted into a photo. This photo image was used to highlight the three regions of New Jersey wineries (South, Central, and North).

I am planning a book launch (maybe more than one) and some signings at a few of our wineries. Details coming soon. I will be updating frequently on twitter and instagram with “breaking news” when I know more about any specifics. Thanks for your patience and support.

It is an amazing feeling holding a copy of the book in my hands that I have been working on for over two years! I had hoped to update a few other things, but these will have to wait. Between the breaking news about my book and getting my copies and enjoying a week in Ocean City with my family, I was physically and emotionally exhausted (but very happy).

I should be back to my regular Sunday posting again next week. Thanks again for your patience and support.

Cheers!
